Richard Rhodes — Principal
Richard is founder of Rhodes Capital Management (2001) and co-founder of The CoffeeTree Fund LP (2007). He serves as investment strategist and portfolio manager for RCM clients and for The CoffeeTree Fund LP. Prior to launching these entities, Mr. Rhodes spent a number of years in the international corporate finance sphere. From 1994 to 1999, he served as the Financial Director of the Moscow-based corporate consulting group Center for Business Skills Development. Thereafter, he served as on WorldCom's Strategic and Capital Planning teams, after which he went on to launch The Rhodes Report newsletter and Rhodes Capital Management, Inc.
Richard graduated from the University of Houston with a B.A in Russian Studies, and holds an international M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management with an emphasis upon the Russian language, international finance and accounting.
Graham Avila — Managing Director
Graham joined RCM as a Registered Investment Advisor in early 2009. Involved with capital markets since 1997, Graham has spent recent years as a private trader specializing in equity options. He spent his early career in corporate finance, working in financial analysis for Johnson & Johnson, Campbell Soup, and an internet startup venture. Graham graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University. Graham resides with his wife in Wynnewood, PA and you will be hard pressed to find a bigger Philadelphia Phillies fan.
